The 2024 Annual Fall Town Meeting included 19 Articles, 14 of which passed, 2 tabled, and 3 lost for lack of a motion.
ARTICLE #4 - BUDGET SUPPLEMENTS
During the spring budgeting process, the “1% budget” required both the overall budget for the general government and school department to be held to an equal 1% increase over FY24. Based on Fall Town Meeting vote on October 21, 2024, what was a 1% increase for the general government and school department, is now 4.2% for Town and 2.4% for Schools, allocating an additional $1,019,205.50 ($792,715.00 from Free Cash)
